My preference has always been to express my feelings and impressions through drawing and painting. I attended the artistic community college in Vienna and took part in advanced courses of European and American artists, to expand my artistic perspective. Living part of the year in Vienna (Europe) and part in Punta Gorda (Florida), I try to express the beauty that I see around me. The excitement of the change of seasons and the elusiveness of nature are what inherently draw me to paint plein air landscapes. To catch a special moment of a day is an on-going exploration of emotion and mood, of color and light during her painting process. Plein air painting is a wonderful way to be outside and to be totally connected to the subject. But I also enjoy painting in my studio in Punta Gorda and Vienna. I  believe that a successful painting has a certain rhythmic and lyrical quality. IWS Co Leader Austria Member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists of Austria

Born in 1948, trained as a chartered accountant and initially not part of the art world, I got into watercolor in the early 90s, by the greatest of chance, seduced by the phenomenon of pigment fusion. At the end of 1998, I deepened my experience first with Roland Palmaerts both during course sessions and during outdoor internships. I also flitted with other renowned watercolor artists in order to take stock of other ways of seeing this wonderful medium. After having essentially treated landscapes and flowers, I have devoted myself since 2014 to constructed abstraction which combines geometric rigor based on prime numbers while favoring the flexibility of forms and the evanescence of colored gradations. I wish to show, among other things, that, notwithstanding such a precise and rigorous construction, the global vision entails a difficulty in perceiving the exact reality of things. I have always loved making art. I started drawing and painting at a young age and took art classes through high school, but my main focus was mathematics. In college, however, I realized that I had more passion for art, and I ultimately graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  After graduation, I moved to NYC and began working as an assistant at several design companies, eventually becoming a professional graphic designer. I juggled my time between design and art until 2017 when I turned to painting and teaching watercolor classes. My graphic design background continues to be a big advantage for me as an artist and instructor.  Teaching students to paint in watercolor is my passion… I love seeing their expressions when they experience the absolute “magic” of this amazing medium. My favorite subject to teach is portraits, but my ongoing classes cover all genres. I am a long time volunteer and Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society (NWWS), having served as P...

From my experiences directing events, I have been able to live with the best watercolorists worldwide and watch them work. In 2020, with the confinement due to the pandemic, I experimented and applied these experiences to my own works and, with this, I strengthened my style. Likewise, by being able to focus solely on my craft as a painter, I was able to give direction to my ideas so that I discover that I have made progress in my technique, I have improved in the way of communicating through my works and I have deepened my arguments. Currently, I greatly enjoy expressing my concerns and complaints in my work, as well as happy and promising moments. In each work I find new challenges and some message to the viewer, always leaving a space for them to interpret it freely based on their criteria. I am convinced that the work of each artist is unique and that personal experiences give it uniqueness. That is why I consider that the most important thing about my contribution as an artist is h...

Since early childhood, painting has been a fundamental part of my life. It has not only shaped my personal development but also established itself as an essential means of communication—a language through which I convey ideas, emotions, and reflections that transcend words. My work is rooted in a profound engagement with nature. A pivotal moment in my career was the award of an artist residency scholarship in Iceland, which enabled me to immerse myself fully in the raw, ever-changing landscapes of the region. There, I began to focus more deeply on the atmospheric conditions, light, and elemental forces that continue to inform my artistic vocabulary. Watercolour became my medium of choice, valued for its immediacy, transparency, and capacity to suggest the ephemeral. Recurring motifs in my work include glaciers, skies, ice, seas, volcanoes, and ships—elements that serve as metaphors for inner states and emotional resonance. I often modify compositions during the creative process in orde...

In 2009, a friend took Frank to his first watercolor show. The talent surprised him... and it got him excited about the medium.  Soon after, he began a serious exploration of watercolor. Frank started his career as a sign painter. He painted thousands of walls and windows, developed logos and branded businesses, large and small. Later, as a billboard painter, he often painted a 10’ x 36’ billboard in a single day. As the age-old craft of signpainting began to wane due to the advancement of computer technology, he went with the rising tide and transitioned to computer graphics. Frank’s decades of creating good design, his knowledge of color, and tens of thousands of hours with a brush in hand were of tremendous benefit when he finally turned his eye towards watercolor. Frank’s watercolors have been selected for exhibitions: World of High Watercolor in Russia, Missouri Watercolor International Exhibition in Spain, World Watercolor Masters at the International Watercolor Society in Ho...

I am an elected member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, and serve on the  RI Council as Social Media Curator.   I am attracted to mysterious, strange, sublime and supernatural themes. We artists are porous, absorbing energies beyond ourselves, and so I find that my work explores both primeval time, fantasies of ancestral homeland, and current turmoil about contemporary world crises.

He has been recognised as “master of watercolours “ after years of painting and many prizes in international competitions.  Stanislaw’s words about his art:  "Nature has always been my source of inspiration, it dominates my works. In the summer I paint in the archipelago. I wait for the sun's reflections on wet rocks, catch shadows, reflections in water and paint stones under the water's surface. My paintings do not provoke, they lack a direct message, they do not depict the present, but they should make the viewer stop and reflect. I only paint when I myself experience something that touches me and that is the feeling I want to pass on to the viewer".
