Irene Gravender
Irene Gravender paints in series. These are paintings inspired by the abstraction of nature. Puddles after rain, melted snow, autumn slush in the forest. There is a series of portraits.
The artist's favorite genre is still life from simple things that accidentally ended up together and have a symbolic meaning.
Irene Gravender studied watercolor technique since childhood at the Moscow art school.
Later, she studied drawing, painting and book illustration at the University of Printing and Book Design (diploma) in Moscow. Since 1986, she has worked as a freelance artist, illustrator of illustrated books and private drawing teacher.
The artist has exhibited in Russia, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Greece and Germany.
Since 1996, she has lived in Germany and is a member of the German Watercolor Society (DAG) and the Association of Fine Artists in Bonn.
