Amarjeet Maan
Working primarily in watercolor, Amarjeet explores still life, landscapes, portraits, and urban scenes, often unified by her deep fascination with light. Her work captures fleeting moments—refractions through glass, the quiet drama of shadows, and the soft interplay of form and space. Each painting begins with deliberate staging and photography before being transformed into a vivid narrative through her brush. Her approach is quiet yet powerful, revealing the beauty hidden in the everyday.
Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions around the world, including IWS Delhi, FabrianoInAcquarello (Italy), and exhibitions in Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand, UAE, Albania, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Zurich. She has exhibited at Richeson Gallery (USA), Watercolor International in Greece, the El Greco Museum, and the Incheon Watercolor Festival in South Korea. Her painting “A Window to Reflections” was featured in Splash 20: Creative Compositions by North Light Books, and her recent invitation to the International Watercolour Masters in England places her among today’s leading contemporary watercolorists. Her work has also been featured in The Art of Watercolor magazine.
Through every brushstroke, Amarjeet continues to explore the subtleties of perception and the quiet power of light—inviting viewers to look closer, feel deeper, and find poetry in the everyday.
