Marina Goldberg CWA

Marina Goldberg is an accomplished watermedia artist and an art director whose figurative watercolor paintings showcase a fluid, expressive and empathetic style. 

Born in Russia, Marina studied in St. Petersburg, Stieglitz Art Academy and received her BFA from San Francisco Art Institute. 

Marina’s artwork has received widespread recognition both nationally and internationally, winning awards from prestigious  exhibitions organized by the California Watercolor Association, Salmagundi Club, New York, Fabriano International Art Exhibition among others. 

Several of her paintings are in the international museums permanent collections. Her work has been featured in a number of art publications, including Watercolor Artists.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Matthew graduated with honors from the Pratt Institute of Art in Brooklyn, New York, in 2000. He is a Signature Member of numerous organizations, including the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society, where he served as vice president. His award-winning watercolor paintings have been exhibited in juried shows across the United States, as well as in Canada, China, England, Greece, Hong Kong, and Italy. His work is in museum and private collections. Herman Pekel

Born in Melbourne in 1956 of Dutch parents, Herman was 17 when he held his first solo exhibition in Melbourne: it was a sell-out success. He spent three years studying and painting in Amsterdam and London, where he encountered the works of Constable, Turner and Rembrandt. These impressed him and influenced his own work. On returning to Melbourne in 1982 he began studying for his fine arts degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Dale Hickey, Jeff Makin and Clifton Pugh are just a few of the contemporary artists under whom Herman studied and who were instrumental in cultivating his appreciation of contemporary art, as well as experimentation with abstract impressionism. His tonal works, in oil and watercolour, range from city and landscapes to café and bar interiors to dynamic industrial scenery. They all demonstrate the very best of contemporary impressionism.
