Chris Krupinski AWS DF, NWS

Chris Krupinski is a Dolphin Fellow of American Watercolor Society, a Gold Member of the National Watercolor Society, and a Distinguished Master of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA). 

Chris also has a graphic design business along with being a watercolorist. She attributes much of her compositional skills to her graphic design background.

She has received over 250 national / international awards. Most recently, she won the top Still Life Award in Artist’s Magazine’s 2025 Annual Competition. 

One of her paintings was selected as First Place in Splash 2024. She has appeared in numerous publications and her work is included in museum and private collections.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Matthew graduated with honors from the Pratt Institute of Art in Brooklyn, New York, in 2000. He is a Signature Member of numerous organizations, including the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society, where he served as vice president. His award-winning watercolor paintings have been exhibited in juried shows across the United States, as well as in Canada, China, England, Greece, Hong Kong, and Italy. His work is in museum and private collections. Herman Pekel

Born in Melbourne in 1956 of Dutch parents, Herman was 17 when he held his first solo exhibition in Melbourne: it was a sell-out success. He spent three years studying and painting in Amsterdam and London, where he encountered the works of Constable, Turner and Rembrandt. These impressed him and influenced his own work. On returning to Melbourne in 1982 he began studying for his fine arts degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Dale Hickey, Jeff Makin and Clifton Pugh are just a few of the contemporary artists under whom Herman studied and who were instrumental in cultivating his appreciation of contemporary art, as well as experimentation with abstract impressionism. His tonal works, in oil and watercolour, range from city and landscapes to café and bar interiors to dynamic industrial scenery. They all demonstrate the very best of contemporary impressionism.
